Today in Bathroom Mondays: a bathroom renovation in a rented apartment, a beautiful one with mosaic tiles, double vanity bathrooms, and tips for a spa-like bathroom.
This is not usual. The tenant in this house had the opportunity of giving her input when the bathroom finally decided it needed to be updated (major plumbing issues). The old vanity unit, made out of kitchen cabinets, was replaced by a beautiful and sleek one with great lighting from above. The tenant was also able to suggest much cleaner tiles on the walls and floor and replacing the old half-tub for a walk-in shower increasing the space in the room.
Overall the result is great, very airy with lots of light and easy to maintain. It’s not everyday that a landlord asks for a tenant opinion when there’s a need for renovations in a rented property. But tenants being the ones living there might be better at giving advice about the place.
And of course you may not be able to renovate your bathroom because you are a tenant. So this is the article for you. It’s full of tips and suggestions for updating your bathroom without spending lots of money.
This is a bit different as well than the usual articles we bring you. This is a slide showwith the before and after photos of the bathroom renovation. So very little to read about, but the renovation is beautiful and we liked a lot the mosaic tiles in the bathtub area. Mosaic tiles are durable and can be very colourful and beautiful.
