Again Tuesday and again house tours. This week a house in Madrid with beautiful tiles, a XIX century house with a very modern interior, and industrial building unit converted into a 1 bed apartment and a house with lots nature accents.
This is an apartment in Madrid, Spain. It’s main feature is white all around the apartment and colour is introduced using furniture and accessories. A beautiful carpet with geometric designs is a nice feature in the stairs but the room we like the most is the kitchen. The floor tiles are wonderful and introduce classic a classic touch in an other wise very modern kitchen. The glass splashback makes the room look lighter too. It’s a fantastic house tour to see.
Our next house is a XIX century house how has gone through a very modern renovation that goes unnoticed from the outside. We like a lot the stained glass panels in the front door. But once you enter the house you find a very modern decor with only some traditional touches such as the beautiful wood flooring throughout the house. A very modern and practical kitchen with dark cabinets, looks light and airy thanks to the big windows overlooking the backyard. And the children’s room has a great custom made bunk bed that makes great use of all the available space. It’s a great to tour to visit and get inspiration.
And continuing with modern design our next house is an apartment in an industrial building. There is no intention in hiding the building past. All the walls have been painted white leaving the small kitchen area the only area with a very bright yellow wall. The kitchen area is also very well organized making great use of the small space. Even though the apartment clearly shows its industrial past through the concrete floors and exposed bricks the amount of light coming through the windows and nice colours touches manages to get a warm feeling in it.
And our last house tour take us to a house with lots of nature inspired details. Soft colours, beautiful tiling on the floors of most rooms with seagrass rugs, and nice accessories evoking nature make this apartment surprisingly warm and very relaxing. The bathroom rustic tiling on the walls looks fantastic. Definitely worth visiting.
