Last week we went through several different materials that can be used on your countertop. Today we focus in just one Synthetic Solid Surface.

Synthetic Solid Surface countertops are man made. One of the most well known is Corian. They are extremely durable and tough: stain-, mildew-, and germ-resistant. If they get scratched they are very easy to buff out. Their main disadvantage is the cost. The most durable ones would be very expensive.
