This article is about a garage transformed into a kitchen. This is an alternative to get more space in any house instead of moving somewhere else and it would increase the value of your property. Old garages might be too small to actually fit modern cars comfortably and some people nowadays don’t consider that important to keep their cars indoors. Also converting a space it’s going to be easier from the planning point of view than building an extension.

In this article you will get a full virtual tour of the whole renovation. The owners managed to fit a full kitchen with a breakfast island, very beautiful tiling and flooring. They also have space left to create a small lounge area that makes socializing while cooking very easy.

Our second article of today is a much smaller project than the one above. The owners bought a new house with a newly installed kitchen. Unfortunately the previous owner was trying to maximize the storage space and decided to cover the only window available in the space. The new owners found that depressing considering that the rest of the room was quite beautiful. They decided to removed some of the upper kitchen cabinets, re-opened the old window, installed shelves replacing some of the old cabinets, and tiled the splashback area. The whole project was done on a budget of 700 dollars (approximately 560 Euros).

  1. Great post here. Got to admit, I’m more a fan of traditional hardwood floors over concrete floors. But each to their own I guess.
