What can you do if you have a dark kitchen with very little light? If you are this owner you go for mirrored tiles in your splashback. They will immediately increase the amount of light in the room reflecting back the one available. As you can see the main colours in the decor are also very light with white painted cabinets and very light wood flooring. All that new light allowed for some dark furniture that thanks to the new amounts of light provides a very nice and elegant contrast.
