There are several renovations you can do in your house that will affect the value of your property either increasing it or lowering it. Kitchen renovations or upgrades are one of those ones. Even minor renovations in a kitchen can increase the value of your house. And in this kitchen it certainly paid off not only from the decorative point of view but from the investment point of view.

If you visit the articles above and below you will find all the information about the renovation but even though it looks a very expensive one that is not the case. It was mostly a DIY project with lots of planning and research in order to get the best solutions and prices. The cabinets were the original ones painted, the countertops were replaced by something more durable and practical: granite. Lots of research went into finding all the appliances at great prices.

The result is incredible and much cheaper than it looks even if you don’t go the DIY route.

The first thing you notice when you see photos of this kitchen is the lovely blue painted cabinets. The second is how absolutely gorgeous they are. And it’s not a great surprise when you find out that the owner of this kitchen is actually a cabinet maker. You see the skills he has because those cabinets are amazing.

The rest of the kitchen is also as amazing as the cabinets. A beautiful shade of green is used on walls that combines perfectly well with the blue in the cabinets. The wooden floor tones continue in the island countertop. And the tiles used in the splashback are wonderful.
