Today in Kitchen Thursdays: a kitchen with walnut cabinets, bright colours, tips about working with kitchen designers and modern ergonomic kitchen design by Logica Kitchens.
This is a beautiful kitchen with custom made walnut cabinets. The upper cabinets have stainless steel doors that combine with the stainless steel appliances in the rest of the kitchen and the slim pull ups in the drawers. The white mosaic like splashback combines beautifully with the stainless steel and the walnut in the cabinets and it helps lighten the overall look, as walnut can feel a bit dark. They finished the kitchen with a lovely oak wood flooring similar to the one in the rest of the house and some splashed of red to contrast with the brown and brighten the whole space.
It’s a fantastic and very successful renovation making use of different materials.
Kitchens in Ireland tend to be dominated by either white or browns from the cabinetry. And somehow it tends to be a bit boring. But not anymore if you read this article.
They suggest different ways you can add bright colours to your kitchen to brighten it up: painting some or all of your cabinets in a bright red, maybe some bright accessories (like the reds in the previous article), painting your ceiling or walls, etc. You have a list of ideas and plenty of photos to get ideas and inspiration.
If you are thinking about renovating your kitchen and you want to get expert advice from a designer you might want to read this article. Kitchen designers are up to date with the latest trends, materials and technologies that can be used in a kitchen but depending on your needs and what you want to use you might want to choose one type of designer over another. If you want to have custom made cabinets, a cabinet maker would be the one to talk to as he will provide you the best advice and will make the best use of the space available.
It goes in detail about everything you need to know about kitchen designers and if a renovation is in your future it’s a must read before you commit to anything.
